    Charming stay with great food

Spent a couple of nights here and wow! The room was huge with a cool four-poster bed. Breakfast was tasty and the staff really made us feel at home. Nice courtyard for drinks, but water pressure in the shower was a bit weak sometimes.

    historic charm
    well-presented food
    excessive noise
    heating issues
    poor lighting

The historic charm of the building is palpable, and the food is a highlight, with well-presented dishes and a satisfying breakfast. Friendly and professional staff made the experience enjoyable. the room faced significant noise from an exterior fan, and heating issues made it uncomfortable during our stay.

    Charming Stay with Unique Features

We enjoyed our time here, especially the friendly staff who made us feel at home. The Crimson Room featured a stunning four-poster bed and a delightful claw-footed bathtub. Be sure to ask for extra water for your stay, and consider arriving early for better parking.

    great atmosphere
    top-notch breakfast
    friendly staff
    tricky parking

Had an awesome time with friends! We played at Chart Hills, a must-try for golfers, especially the 17th hole. The atmosphere was great and the breakfast was top-notch and fresh. Staff was friendly and ready to help with local suggestions. Plenty of outdoor seating too!

One downside was the parking situation. it’s really small and tricky to maneuver. when I asked for a coffee late at the bar, they couldn’t provide it, which was a letdown.

I had a wonderful time! The food was amazing, especially the breakfast, and I loved the quirky large en-suite. Definitely need to fix the shower’s hot water though.

    historic decor
    lovely staff
    plentiful breakfast
    late-night noise
    room quirkiness

I stayed for a night while attending a local event and found the overall experience to be charming yet with some quirks. The historic decor really added a unique touch, making the place feel warm and inviting. While the breakfast was decent and plentiful, I found the late-night noise from the bar a bit distracting, which interfered with my sleep. The staff were lovely and helpful despite the few annoyances.

Inconsistent room cleanliness!!! The aging facilities clearly need upgrades, and limited parking availability posed challenges!!! Poor Wi-Fi connectivity added frustration during my stay!!!

    breakfast wait

Had a lovely two-night stay, enjoying the spacious Standard Double Room and the cozy pub atmosphere. The games room was a fun touch, and we relaxed on the sun terrace with a drink in hand. Only downside was a bit of a wait for breakfast, but it didn't ruin our experience at all! 😊
